Expect to have a first-class, fun-filled outdoor cultural experience at the Chain of Parks Art Festival, in downtown Tallahassee! View amazing, original, and one-of-a-kind works of art in a delightful Southern outdoor setting.
Nationally ranked in the Top 100 Fine Art Festivals by Sunshine Artist Magazine for 11 years running, this annual two-day festival draws tens of thousands of people from the Big Bend Southeast region to see 150 artists who have traveled from all over the country to display their original fine art works. Known as the premier fine art event, visitors can view and purchase unique works of art while enjoying a weekend filled with a wide variety of live entertainment, mouth-watering culinary creations, libations served enthusiastically at the festival bar, local heritage re-enactments, family fun, interactive children’s art activities, professional chalk artists, and more!
LeMoyne’s 23rd annual Chain of Parks Art Festival was held on April 15-16 and was met with excitement from enthusiastic crowds, happy to have the beloved festival return bigger and better than ever. Attendees were greeted with a delightful, fun-filled outdoor cultural experience, viewing original works of one-of-a-kind fine art under century-old oak trees at the Chain of Parks in downtown Tallahassee.
“I love the variety and quality of the artwork, what a beautiful venue and supportive community” shared a visitor from Atlanta enjoying the festival. The Chain of Parks Art Festival is a much-loved regional fine art and cultural experience and is vital in supporting LeMoyne Arts’ year-long programming and educational offerings.
“Best year ever!” Was the buzz at the festival with Cover Artist, Anne Hempel saying, “It’s hard to pick one thing as my favorite, but selling paintings to friends, family, repeat customers, and new patrons has got to be it! I loved the chalk artists and birdhouses as well.”
CoP is proud to be nationally ranked in the “Top 100 Fine Art Festivals” for the past 10 years, including #1 in 2017, #5 in 2018 and #3 in 2019, and #7 in 2022 by Sunshine Artist Magazine. CoP has recently been informed that we are in the top 100 Fine Art Festivals again this year, but we will not know our final ranking until September 2023. The festival was named the “BEST Family Amusement” in the Tallahassee Democrat’s Tallahassee Reader’s Choice Awards 2021, was runner-up in 2022, and has been nominated again for the 2023 festival.
