2026 Volunteer info:

The Festival is largely run by volunteers like you! Your efforts help us raise vital funds for LeMoyne Arts Foundation’s yearly programming and educational offerings. Thank you, volunteers!

Sign up to volunteer for just a few hours or every day – either way, join the group of dedicated volunteers who often return each year because it’s rewarding and fun! Your help will make all of the difference.

Part of a civic group? Volunteer together and receive a special shoutout promoting your organization and community spirit!

The Volunteer Experience:

  • Fun & Flexible: Most shifts are easy, leaving you plenty of downtime to enjoy the art and atmosphere.

  • Volunteer Perks: Take breaks in our “Behind the Scenes” area with shade and light refreshments by Scotty’s Dogs and Argonaut Coffee on Friday, and Hotel Duval over the weekend. Each volunteer gets a special volunteer t-shirt and a quick orientation at check-in.

  • The Buddy System: Sign up for shifts with your friends! It makes it way more fun. If you want to work together on a shift that only shows one opening, or if you need to adjust your shift times, simply let us know in the comments section of your sign-up.

Important Information:

  • Registration: We use Signup.com. Keep your login handy and watch for a coordinator update in early April (check your junk folder just in case).

  • Students: We welcome student volunteers! Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We are happy to sign off on student volunteer hours immediately after your shift at check-out.

  • Preparation: We are a rain-or-shine event. Dress for the Florida weather & bring your reusable waterbottle.

  • Friday-Sunday Check-in & Check Out: 300 E Park Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32301 (the Chamber’s carport).
  • Parking: While we can’t guarantee parking, volunteers will be sent a parking guide ahead of time – carpooling encouraged!
  • Setup & Breakdown Heroes: We have a high need for support on Friday and Sunday afternoon with setup and breakdown.
  • Leadership: Interested in being a “Super Volunteer” or joining a committee? Email Powell@LeMoyne.org to learn more.

Training at LeMoyne Arts:

New! We are now offering two optional volunteer training sessions ahead of the Festival so that everyone feels prepared. As a thank you, we’ll provide a fun craft with artist, Dan Taylor, and food, kindly donated by Decent Pizza and The Pink Whisk.

We will meet at LeMoyne for crafts and snacks, and then walk over to the parks as a group for orientation and zone-specific training. We’ll take a group photo at the end of the training with our special craft!

  • Saturday, April 4: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Wednesday, April 8: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Parking: Directly across the street from LeMoyne (125 N. Gadsden St.) in St. John’s parking lot.

In appreciation for volunteering at the festival this year, and with help from Capital City Bank, the Festival is providing each volunteer with a Volunteer T-shirt!
