Plan your weekend at the Chain of Parks Art Festival in downtown Tallahassee!
Here’s what we recommend you bring:
- Tallahassee-friendly weather gear – Sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, hat, hand fan, comfy shoes, umbrella or poncho, and a light jacket. The weather can shift, so layers are smart!
- Your refillable water bottle & hydration packets – Refill at the City of Tallahassee’s Water Wagon in the main food court. Folks often forget to hydrate during all the fun. Take care of yourself and your loved ones (and don’t forget any necessary medication)!
- Portable phone charger – Keep your phone charged for photos, maps, and social updates.
- Cash & card – Most vendors take cards or cash apps, but those tend to come with fees. Having cash or checks can help!
- Need an ATM? Stop by Capital City Bank just north of the festival on Calhoun St.
- Seating – There’s plenty provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own blanket or folding chair.
- Dog supplies – Keep your dog leashed and bring baggies to clean up. We have a few water bowls around the parks, but it’s best to bring your own. The asphalt gets hot—consider booties or a stroller for your pup’s paws during mid-day heat.
- Lost & Found – Visit the Behind the Scenes area or Souvenir Tent if you find something, or lose something! Uniformed TPD officers will also be stationed throughout the parks for emergency help.
- First Aid – Take a break at the Family Dermatology of North Florida Cooling Tent (next to the Main Stage) if you’re not feeling well and need a moment to hydrate and cool off. EMS is stationed right behind the stage for emergencies.

The Festival is honored to welcome Second Harvest of the Big Bend as a featured Community Partner! This year, we are especially excited to support the 10th Anniversary of the “PBJ PLZ!” food drive in collaboration with WCTV and Leon County Schools. As you enjoy world-class fine art in downtown Tallahassee, you can help feed thousands of children during the summer months when school meals are unavailable.
Most Needed Items: Peanut Butter & Jelly, as well as canned fruits, veggies, meats, hearty soups, and dry cereal.
