There’s No Bad Time to Come to the Festival!
The Chain of Parks Art Festival is a FREE weekend celebration, and we highly recommend visiting for a few hours on both days to get the full experience.
Saturday:
Generally, the morning is ideal for avid collectors eager to get first pick of unique artwork and for families to enjoy brunch and free make-and-take crafts before naptime. Around lunchtime, the festival buzzes with socializing over great food and live entertainment. Saturday afternoon is a bit less crowded but still packed with great art, craft beer, and performances for all ages. Don’t forget to stop by the souvenir tent— popular items often sell out by Sunday morning!
Sunday:
Visitors can typically expect easier parking and smaller crowds, making Sunday perfect for a more relaxed visit that is still filled with beautiful art and family-friendly activities. Many visitors have so much fun on Saturday that they decided to come back on Sunday to purchase that piece of artwork they simply can’t stop thinking about. Sunday features award announcements, the live street artists complete their 3D masterpieces (great for photos and social media), the silent auction closes at 2 pm, and the much-anticipated marching band procession through the parks delights visitors from 2:30-3 pm to close out the weekend.
